1. I would expect them to weigh around 17lbs depending on size. There isn't an ideal offset in 18" though.
What do you mean that there is not an ideal offset? Will this affect the performance and handling of the car? Are you saying 17" would be a better choice? Thanks!

While the offset may not be IDEAL, its def doable and IMO, actually makes the car look much more aggressive.

I just got my new wheels, 18" Bronze CE28s wrapped in Toyo T1S 225/245. The offsets on the wheels are +50 front and +47 rear. You just have to be careful on the rear on not get too wide a tire. The wheels are also 7.5 and 8.5 inches wide respectively

My other set of wheels, 17" Gunmetal CE28s are 7.5 wide in the front and 9 inches wide in the rear. Their offsets are +50 in the front and +63 in the rear. That def allows you to run more tire in the rear (I have 275s on those) but it also tucks the wheel all the way under the car.

The two wheels almost weigh the same, its just a few pounds here and there between the two. What will play a larger factor are the tires. 18" tires weigh more than 17" tires. Tires are the outermost part of the wheel which means they will have a larger impact. Will a normal person be able to tell the difference in performance, probably not. So everything i just said is pointless
