Dave22 had the black powdercoated supercharger, which looked extremely mean. Polish the interior engine components and pc the SC black

dont waste your time with mods like ARC and other high end bolts. by the time you look at your bank acct you could of spend a bit more and just got a S/C. best bang for your buck.

i am anti jdm bling. cant justify 2000k for an intake that only gives less than 5hp.

slap on a s/c and your set. plus your car looks hot with your new wheels. keep it clean.

i believe in the exact opposite of what you just said.

SC is the worst mod for an S2000. S2000 is hardly a car made to go in straightlines.

The S2000 has enough power already and it is more useful to spend time on other aspects beside the engine first. What is really the funniest thing about all of this is that the majority of the people that get the SC are just getting it for bragging rights anyway. People that focus on Suspension setups are almost guaranteed to be having alot more fun.

I wish Hot Version would get a SC S2000 against the Amuse Touge Monster to blow this whole mess wide open.

All of those "Bling" as you so originally put it, intakes are made with a specific tuning logic, and basically everyone is made for an increase in throttle response as JDM tuners realized long long ago that simply putting an intake on a car isn't really a major power adder.

I can almost guarantee you that spending money on getting your suspension just right will result in more fun for a true enthusiast.

Im looking to obtain an ARC battery cover, radiatior cooling plate, valve plug cover, heat sheild and other parts if available, WHere can i get these??? Im wanting either the rainbow color or matte silver...
Anyone here know- thanks@!
I think the best place online to get these is from our vendor Evasive Motorsports....if you are looking for spark plug valve cover, I have the ARC titanium piece (rainbow color) for sale. I want the matte finish one.

Also looking to buy the ARC heat shield and battery cover if anyone is sellin!

SIN3: NO worries man, I'm definitely doing the supercharger, just gotta find time to install it

I want it to look perfect when I pop open the hood, right now I'm ashamed to open my hood...haha

Thanks Ryan for all your insight, will start on this project this weekend.

Circa: Sounds like you are a suspension expert, you care to share with me what you would "recommend" for an ultimate setup? I don't track my car but do like to take corners fast! Right now I only have the Tien Flex coils and thinking about some Comptech sways and maybe a front/rear camber kit if there is such a thing....anything you suggest?

Keep those pics coming - so many nice engine setups on this forum

regards,
rick

The SC will make an awesome addition to an S. Certainly better than a stupid intake that is a complete rip-off and doesn't do an awful lot. SC will provide a complete amplification to power curve and will not spoil the driveability at all.

If Best Motoring did get a SC'd Version against the Amuse, assuming it was set up well, it would win. There is no lag with an SC. The power is there instantaneously, just like N/A. It is also a very linear delivery, unlike a turbo. Don't get me wrong, I think N/A is the best thing ever, but it just makes soooo much sense to go for the SC.

Get the suspension, brakes, differential, ratios sorted before doing the SC conversion.

Turbo > supercharger > N/A
