Ryan, just noticed a few things about your engine bay....

1) Who did all the engine polish work for you? Is that something you can do at home or you take your parts somewhere?

2) I love the Blue Vortech logo, is that a decal custom made?

3) Who painted your engine cover and blue hood dampeners?

I printed out your pics for guidance - I love the blue/chrome, not overly done but just right

I really want to polish my Comptech charger but not sure where to go...do I just look in the yellow pages for a metal polisher?

Thanks for all the awesome pics guys, it really gives me a lot to think about!

Right now I know I want to buy Blue Samco hoses for sure as well as a few more ARC pieces.

Probably get the titanium strut bar from another s2k member, and maybe the T1r yellow sockie

Would Evasive be a good place to buy everything?

Kev!

I had the Comptech aluminum STB, but think that a STB would have made it more cluttered and looked less clean.

1. The Vortech can be purchased already polished and the Koyo comes polished as well. If you must have Comptech, talk to Faukengenius as he had his aftercooler polished if i remember correctly.

2. I called Vortech and asked them to send it to me in blue since the ones that they gave me were white and gray.

3. I had the hood dampers and valve cover painted by EP3minivan's friend. He did his valve cover as well and they turned out good. He did excellent work and was very reasonable. He also got it to me exactly when i needed it.

Dave22 (The blacked out SC) is another one of my favorite set-ups. I really like the look of the all black.

I'd like to get some blue vacumn hoses for my engine bay. I got some blue "Pilot" vacuum hoses for my wife's Civic. There was a vacuum leak and I ended up going back to stock. Also, I heard that some vacuum hoses have special "inserts" in them that "alter" the air flow.

Is there a set of color vacuum hoses I can get for my S and won't have to worry about screwing up any vacuum pressure?
