I was thinking exactly that but then I also thought that I have no idea where I would find a titanium resonator and someone to weld titanium. If anyone around here has any suggestions I am open to them, believe me.

Oh I think I misread your post. Were you saying that the JIC is louder? If so all I can say is judging from the video, it's a lot quieter than mine. You can feel my exhaust in your head and chest at idle. It's so low and deep, kinda like a 80" sub playing some super low freq loop. I haven't even vtec'd in it yet either. The sound level from 1k-4k is so rediculous that I can't imagine what vtec would be like.

and the previous owner said it wasn't that loud?

He must have suffered permanent hearing loss from it...

Losing almost 50lbs from swapping out your exhaust is though...

Yeah, I'm still kinda bent about that. The weight loss and power gains that I can already feel are what makes this thing the hardest to decide about. I just don't think I can live with it. I think I'd be happier with a quieter dual unfortunately.

I would really like the Dual Ti Amuse... looks and sounds great and is still very light. I just don't see spending that kind of $$$ on an exhaust though.

If I can snag one used for ~1,200 or so I'd go for it - but that's about all I'd be willing to spend.

Tough decision you have... can you drill a hole in it and run a silencer for the street?

I probably could if I found one that would fit it but I would really hate to ruin the gains this thing gives just to make it quieter. Yeah I would trade up for an amuse dual in a second. I should've gone that way in the first place.
