To a novice you are correct. But, to an enthusiast the looks prove the quality of the product and the quality of the finish. I think that is what makes the car great.
I'll even go one step further

I think the key is that the car doesn't look like any other stock S2000, it looks like it was built that way at the factory (there is a difference). To me, that is the ultimate in tuning. If you can take a production automobile, improve the aspects of it that you think need improving, and still end up with a car that looks like it was built to look that way (even if it doesn't look like any other car on the road), you have been successful.

The whole point is that it you sit Diez's car next to a stock S2000, it looks like a better trim level (as if Honda had released an S2000 Type R for example) of the stock car, not a completely different car.

Too often I think in the quest to "stand out" and do something "original" to import cars, people end up not "tuning" the car but "transforming" it into something else. They call us "Tuners" not "Transformers" right?

well i have been looking for the cage you have on your car for a while now and cant find anything what type of cage is that ?
The first one looked like a Safety21 (or Spoon, they're the same I believe) cage in earlier pics, but in the later pics with the custom fabricated covers, it looked like it was a Mugen roll bar. Maybe Diez can shed some light.

Car looks nice and clean, it's not the most amazing or beautiful S2000 I've seen, but it's nice. I also wanted to say that im sure in one way or another it's amazing quality, but i can see how someone would want their car to look more tuned after spending so much money. Just my cup of tea.

"Tuned" is relative. Anyone who really knows about the S will know how well tuned this car is. In fact, by him not leaving his car two-toned between the carbon and the GPW and not putting stickers (which is what I think you're getting at), I think his car is that much better. True ballers don't need to show off what they have.

diez, what suspension are you using/plan to use? I know the front is widened but it seems like you'll have problems rubbing in the rear if you're driving it hard, no?
