Jack.Diamond,
The car definitely has similar a feel to an s2k. I prefer the f20c over the fa20 for obvious reasons but to be honest aside from that and dropping the top there's not much about the s2k I prefer over the BRZ. I'm more confident going into a corner and doing a late apex in the brz as I know even if the rear starts to come around it's more of a steady state slide compared to the snap oversteer of my AP1. Now that maybe an unfair comparison, being that my brz is on kwv3's and is properly corner balanced and aligned, but even in stock trim its hard to deny that the brz offers a little better feedback as to what the car is doing. With another say 60-80 horsepower I'd think my brz would be the perfect daily driver/weekend track car combo. In a perfect world I'd have both (and about a dozen other cars ) but as far as a compromise of comfort and performance the brz is pretty amazing. I've gotten used to having all the comforts (nav, dual climate control, satellite radio, heated seats, bi-xenons, quieter cabin, interior room etc etc) and I think I'd have a hard time giving them all up at this point. With that said I WILL own another S2k just because I grew to love mine so much for all the 100k+ miles I had it, but probably in addition to a daily driver sometime down the road.
Thanks man. That's a detailed comparison.very helpful for a guy like me in China where the s2k was not for sale ever. Hope someday I can own my BRZ/86.

In my perfect world, would have the BRZ built on the X-bone chassis, powered by f20c and added the soft top.
