I think you're going to find most of the people running sideskirts with an OEM front bumper are getting ready to switch that front bumper or out or do something more drastic

maybe the new INGs sides would work with the 04 set up? just thinking that might be and option now. Its ING's, GP Airwalker or even Defend maybe for side skirts. just some thoughts.

Defends sit lower than Airwalkers and both the ING and GP skirts sit just as low if not lower than the Airwalkers. You're only options to match the OEM lips and sideskirts are Veilside and Comptech (and Comptech is questionable) or you can do like Purp and I have and just live with it because like I mentioned earlier - it really isn't *that* noticeable.......I say that while I'm making plans to change it all up again - but my changes have very little to do with the small height difference of the OEM lip and my sideskirts.

As you can see, there is a difference. Only YOU can say if it's something you can live with or not. I personally haven't lost any sleep over it. That being said, I am changing out the front bumper shortly, but it's not due to the ground clearance differential...

I hear a lot of ppl removing the foam impact absorber to make the 04 bumper fit. Is it possible to buy an 04 absorber rather than just removing the old one? They typically run about $40 from the dealer... just a thought.

r_duff - I don't know how well the 04 absorber would work. I heard you have to cut it a little and if you're going to do that, why don't you just cut the one you have and don't spend the extra money?
GodoftheBOLP - I believe pictures of w1ngman's car start on this page: http://poindexter.smugmug.com/gallery/72670/3 but if you want to see what his car looks like today you need to take a look at Quik's WILD threads - there is one with nothing but pictures that I started, and here it is: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=251990 - hold onto your 56K modem because it is going to blow up if you click that

^^^ OEM what? Price leads me to believe it's a front or rear bumper.
I'm actually having some '04 parts retrofitted to my S because of a track mishap. Car should be back next week. '04 headlights and rear bumper are being used. I know we had to bend the headlight support bars to get them to line up with the TS front bumper. Also, I didn't want to rig the lights, so I bought new ballasts as well(much smaller than pre-'04's). I'll post back how the new Invidia mates to the rear bumper.
