The new STi is a boat! Great for a daily. Not fun to drive compared to the s2k.

So much hate on the STi... I don't really understand how most of you can even compare the two. Nothing about the two cars is alike.
2 seats, vs 4 seats
2 doors, vs 4 doors
roof vs no roof
turbo vs na (stock anyway)
rwd vs awd
family sedan class, vs roadster
300 hp vs 240 (im not even going to bring up the toque)
3300 or so lbs vs 2800 lbs
The list goes on.. Truth is, STi is a great car and a lot of you would love it. Yes the GD was a way better looking gen, but the keyword is "was". It's cheap and dated now and can't be compared to the GR at all. Sti makes a great daily driver car... S2000 will never be a great daily driver car. Yes most of us drive them on a daily bassis and can carry four tires in them... We get creative, I get it. But with a car like the 2011 Subaru Sti you do not need to get creative. There's just no need for it. You can get yourself and whatever stuff you carry to wherever in rather quick time lol. Its a great car over all and is really easy to drive.
