1320 feet of fun
I'm a newb to this car at the track, but not the track in general. Give me some pointers to learn this car...
Gimme some good launch suggestions besides the 6k sidestep please!
The 2.2 60' was on a 5k clutch slip, is there anything better to do without destroying the rear end?
I'll be back in a few weeks to work on the launch and get those times down.
Video here
BTW the 14.8 was only my 2nd time ever running the car, so be nice.
Enjoy!

I thought slipping was one of the worst things you could do. If youre not glazing the clutch then you could be bogging down and putting more stress on the diff. i thought the best thing to do was dump it and go! i could be wrong tho'

If you dump and the tires don't break free then the diff absorbs the shock. Which is apparently horrendous for this car.
The track is so sticky that I imagine you would really have to wind up the revs to break free the S02's. Launching on the street is nothing like the track.
I have done my same launch technique on the street and the rear tires break free very easily.
