Update:
New Elongated Valve Cover from L-Con Race Cars in Placentia, CA.
www.L-Con.net
The reason for this high volume/elongated valve cover is to reduce pressure within the engine components.
I had a problem with my dipstick popping up when I drove my car hard. I used an oil catch can and changed my PCV. Dipstick still had issues from engine pressure. This new valve cover has helped and my dipstick hasn't popped up under hard driving so far. Great product, all I had to do was give him a stock core after.
thanks Louie Contreras of L-Con.

Ever since I first saw the first Spoon S I was smitten, I know alot of people arent keen on the Spoon look but Ive got to say thats one of the nicest S's Ive ever seen and also glad to see its not a finish project, thats its still changing.

Hey Alex!! Does your dipstick just pop up and do you get any oil being pumped out through the dipstick hole? I've had it rattle out a few times from vibration with no oil, but when I lost a lot of compression, it would pop out the dipstick due to crankcase pressure and it was pumping oil out too through the dipstick hole despite having a catch can with a ton of venting.
Is there is any worries about starving the system through sweepers by the cover holing too much oil in the front portion of the valve cover? I figure it would just drain back down the timing chain area right?
Keep us updated with how much oil blow by you get with the new valve cover.
