Well I'm not really sure what he worry is to begin with. Valve floating? piston speed?

If the issue with 2.2L reving past 8500rpms is Valve floating, then I have dual valve springs and titanium retainers to help with that.

If the issue is piston speed, then I can't do much to change that. An ap2 at 8500 rpms is about the same piston speed as an ap1 at 9k rpms. There have been some reports of ap1 having a higher rev limit at 9500 rpms, so I'm not two worried about my 2.2L going another 200 revs.

Alex, there isn't really any more power to be make on the 2.2 about 8400-8500 rpms, at least that's what tuners tell me. Valve float isn't an issue either, as the AP1 head will do 10k+ rpms before floating.

I just dynoed a couple weeks ago and Elton @ Raceline made power above Church's tune past 8400 rpms and set the limiter at 8700 because my graph kept climbing. This may be due to my Toda Cam Gear settings and my Ap1 intake/Ap2 exhaust combo.
