neither of my ASM ss' had rattling issues, but this ASM Ti one does for some odd reason.. I think it's because the Titanium construction is a lot thinner and since I'm boosted, it rattles pretty badly around 3k rpm... sounds like a civic with a fartcan, unfortunately... I'm going to try throwing on my OEM cat (with discretion from my tuner) and hope for the best.. I'll post an update on the car tomorrow when I give it a try.
Interesting. Look forward to seeing what happens with the OEM cat. I recently ordered the ASM 60 single from Tommy, and I'm really REALLY hoping I won't have the resonator rattle. We'll see.

The resonator rattle is only prevalent in the new 08' model asm exhausts. I think the rattle from my ti version is just due to the excessive exhausts gasses being blown out through the charger. Even with my old asm 70's, mine was dramatically louder than any other asm equipped s2000 I've ever heard.. The thin-ness and lightweight properties of the titanium construction is what I believe causes my rattle to occur.. but hey, what do I know?

Makes sense. I mean, it's very common with most titanium exhaust systems, like J's.

quick update: 8/22

well, after having the Ohlins installed on the car, we found out that the 10" hyperco springs (same length as the oem ohlins springs on the Flag-S Coilovers) were too long and that the lower perch would hit the upper control arm in the fronts if I tried to lower it any more.. So I had to go ahead and order another set of hyperco's, with the same spring rate, but 2" shorter in length. Thanks to gtmotoring, I was able to get the new set of springs within a few days and I was able to finally lower the car back down. I must say, I am absolutely loving the Ohlins. Definitely worth every penny

here are some quick pics
