They all look good, I don't think you could go wrong w/ any of them, it just depends on how you're building the car, i.e. the theme so to speak.
I love the understated look of the light gold, the black and bright gold are time-tested great looks, the polished is a great contrast, and I don't like the gunmetal that much on second thought .

my friend's LM stoke looks like painted instead of PC.
anyway, you can still sand blast it down, the only downside is your are putting more money and the process of stripping the paint and re PC might weaken the wheels.
i would just leave it as it, they just don't look right in other "jdm/cool/rice/new" colors

why not do a darker orange to match the amber side markers? it'll stand out and blend in with the car? something different?
