Talking *UPDATE* cryo power slots, g2 paint, hawk ceramics

the ceramics

close up of the fronts

the rears

black g2 caliper paint, along with the spray gun

close up of the paint system

the spray gun

soon in the mail for the rear right.

rear left. comparing this with the fronts, i dont see any cadmium plating. is it suppose to be like that?

i am very pleased with the rotors, the quality is unmatched and feels very durable exept the rear one dont have much or any cadmium plating . someone chip in and enlighten me why the rear looks the way it does. ill have to wait till the other one comes in and compare them.

hopefully the spray gun saves me time. i went with black g2 and going with silver s2000 caliper stickers.

the hawks are amazing, the feel of it, just holding it makes me wonder how much of an improvement it will be over the stock ones i got on right now on the car. same goes for the rotors of course.

oh yeah, i am also going with ate super blue.

thanks for looking.

*****update******
just got my caliper stickers in the mail.

in regular postage

sorta bad pic, too much lighting, can barely see the "s2000"

much better pic than the top one yes they send you 3, just in case you mess up.

the instruction (very professional) big ups to SUPERGRAPHICS.CO.UK

i am obviously getting stickers for the fronts, and later i'll get the rear ones. the project will start in a few weeks by then ill have it.

you'll have to place 2 orders and note the second one is for the rears and tell them half size it.

you can get yours from their website (posted above). they have different colors for offer not just silver so dont think "oh they only have silver?"

the stickers are high quality. so dont worry about your calipers heating up and think the stickers are gonna fall off.

expect for more updates soon.

thanks noobs

Wouldn't the plating wear off anyways?

of course it will.

i am just a little paranoid, thinking maybe they forgot to put it on during the manufacturing process or maybe it was used. it was well over $100 each for the rears. i am expecting it to be high quality and done right since it was that much. wouldnt you be? dont hate, congratulate. thanks

haha..do you get offended easily?

You totally took that the wrong way. It was just a question

It is only important that the fins on the rotors are plated, since the face will wear off anyways. The whole point of the plating is to keep the fins rust free - I'm assuming the benefits are purely aesthetic.

the cryo and plating for rotors dont go together (visually), you get one or the other and if they are cryoed they will look chalky like that. power slot is one of my sponsors for the supra and the cryo ones are good stuff! esp if your racing on them just make sure you break them in correctly.
