Hmm, really. I can see the fluid flowing when I take off the cap, but it's never gushing out. How do you guys have yours routed?

With the stock pump I could see it move but now with the Bosch pump it will splash out the filler hole. Output of pump line goes to the port closest to the throttle body. The other port toward the front of the car goes to the top of my front mount heat exchanger and the bottom port of heat exchanger to the inlet of pump. That's how I just redid mine.

Post vids of your fluid in action. I have the SOS base kit, but I have my water pump wired directly to the battery through a relay like the Vortech installation suggests. Car was not running in vid.

Right, the tape can't hurt... I just didn't really like the look of it. It may help to bring the water temps down a few degrees.

Yes, this is the most efficient way to route the plumbing. Gives a good counter-flow setup and keeps the coldest water closest to the throttle body.

LOL, why did I hear that read back in a super gay voice

That's about what mine looked like with the standard pump, a gentle flow. Some people were discussing the fact that the Bosch pump might move fluid too fast and not allow it enough time in the heat exchanger to cool off... but I think the fluid spends more time in the large HX than it does in the AC because of their difference in size... The large HX is definitely larger in capacity than the AC. So I don't see how moving the liquid faster would hurt, as long as more time is spent in the HX than the AC.

Got the aftercooler wrapped up. Took it on a 45min drive around town stop and go on a 80 degree day. Stopped at a gas station on the way home and i must say it was cooler than i thought it would be! So from my hand test it has seemed to help. Deff. felt cooler by touch than when it was not wrapped. I have no way to check my AIT so i cant say if its cooled down my air charge but by it being cooler to the touch im sure its helped with heat soak. I will try to get a pic up. Im going to buy more to do my air box and tube going into the SC.
