I have heard several stories about meth shorting the TPS, but then evaporating before it can be diagnosed.

yeah I had one TPS burned out due to METH, I was injecting it to early on so a lot of it was finding its way into the TPS, I checked the VOLTS though the range of the TPS it was smooth from .35v-4.60v at WOT, I will clean the IACV tomorrow

I have an E-manage for the fella who asked so it doesnt hide CEL codes

^^^ sounds reasonable considering your issue. I would go ahaed and do it. Shouldnt take but a few minutes. Let us know what happens. I'm running meth now too and what to know what kind of corks to expect down the road.

Mine has been doing something like this as well, runs great then seems to run a bit funny, I think I may just need new spark plugs.

I think I need new plugs too, but I dont think plugs would cause this type of thing. I am in the middle of polishing my car, my work Wheels are supposed to be here today so I gotta make my car look purdy

Car runs fine while driving so Im not too worried, at least not yet.

The more that goes wrong the more I learn ya know

i signed in on here from school just to tell you joey LOL.

Its the Intake-Air-Control-Valve... it just happened recently to my car and DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR HARD!!! you need to get this fixed or you could blow your motor.

The intake censor is getting wet from your methanol (what happened to me) and it is messing with your electrical system and it will cause the car to run lean. this is very important joey. Try avoiding driving the car at all times until this is fixed.

This became an issue when i recently installed the SOS throttle body and there is a boost leak and a methanol leak with this system ( i guess there throttle body isn't designed for high boosted applications)

Last friday i mailed SOS back there throttle body to be inspected and repaired/replaced but you should be very well aware that the car is at risk of running too lean.
