Wideband Stuck
I'm prepared to be flamed, so let me have it.
I just purchased a AutoMeter Wideband. I installed it as the instructions said, but the real-time SSD does not move. It is stuck on 14.7. The instructions say that it should work in the real-time mode, right out of the box.
I googled this, and most people who have experienced this problem say its the ground. However, my guage lights up. If it weren't grounded correctly, wouldn't not light up at all?
Thanks in advance.

there is usually a self check it goes through while the plug warms up. This warm up should tell you if the wideband is good, or if its not working correctly. Check your documentation to be sure.

oh then the main thing i can think of is the connection to the sensor, it can look clipped in but its not. just press it in tight.

That would be a lot of soldering in a tight spot, lol.

I guessing that not right.

If you are having sensor issues it will show an E on the screen. I have had mine for about a year and the sensor is starting to go. It was slow to react to begin with, which is why I am going to go with the AEM.
