Default Who's running a stock diff

I'm currently in need of a diff since I sold my diff with 4.56 gears. I understand that our diff is a weak point of our cars and was wondering who all is running a stock diff and how well it is holding up. Wondering if I should spend the extra money to stiffen up an OEM one or if the OEM one will hold up fine for AWHILE.

Guys if you all would could you please list you information as such or in some what of this manner.

1. Supercharged or turbo?
2. How much power are you making?
3. How long have you been running the same diff?
4. How often do you go WOT?

Thanks guys trying to see the route I should take.

Elliott

That's funny, I am about to go FI and I just sold my 4.56 Comptech Reinforced diff. It would be horrible to have such short gears and FI simply because you would fly through the speeds. I decided to go back to stock, if my diff ever does break I will most likely get a reinforced on but either with stock gearing or up to 4.44 possibly.

Had the 4.56 when I was S/C but have sold both to go with a turbo application. Enjoyed the gears very much with my low boost.

Before
1) 400hp turbo
2)DD for about 2 1/2 years so~25000 miles
3) drive it like I stole it. I do have a kaaz lsd. And I try not to slam the clutch when shifting

Now
1) 500hp turbo
2) no longer DD but put about 5000 miles on it
3) still drive it like I stole it. I'm on my second set of axles but need a 3rd set soon due to the vibration when accelerating
