the nitrous statement is wrong, 150hp is 150hp. 150hp of turbo power is the same stress as 150hp of nitrous power. in the end it's just pressure pushing down on a crank. nitrous oxide burns at a faster rate and can get you into trouble quickly if you're stupid with the timing, but tuned right it's the same amount of stress on the motor in either case. besides all of the 800+whp EVO's I'm seen are doing meth injection anyway to cool the charge and mess with timing or run more boost, so it's not boost alone getting them to that power level.

it's cool and I like EVO's, they're sick for 4-door cars, but I didn't buy an EVO, I bought an S. if I wanted to read / talk about EVO's I'd go onto an EVO forum

either way in the end I'm pretty sure the worlds fastest EVO is in the 8's and so is the worlds fastest S. so even though one may out-power the other, the results are the practically the same. what's it called again? oh yeah, power to weight ratio EVO's about 450 pounds more than the S so they need that extra power just to run even.

Is it still an s2000?

He didnt say whats the most power out of a f20/f22 engine did he?

not being a jerk but the title is asking about the most rwhp from a s2000.

Simply said: the F20 engine is definitely more efficient than the 4G63, but even when both engines are fully built the 4G63 is simply capable of supporting more power. I don't think we'll ever see a 1100rwhp F20/F22. inlinePRO's engine build is good for ~900rwhp max (according to Ya) and they are using the strongest possible parts.
I think that is wrong because If the Bseries engine can handle over 1000hp why cant the f20/f22?

Tony palo maxed out his dyno on his sfwd car. There is a few sfwd cars making over 1000 on a B or K series engine. Give it some more time we will see 1000whp out of a F series.

the only reason many Evos and STIs can run some of those times are because of the AWD system. if an s2k could launch and get traction like they do, 8s would have happned long time ago

No, its not. Ask any reputable engine builder/tuner and they will tell you the same thing.

BS. Get an R200 diff, runs slicks, and man-up.

Let's see if your statement holds true:

Arnold's S2000 currently sets the benchmark for all other S2000s who are competitively involved in drag racing. His S2000 makes ~750rwhp, weighs ~2400lbs and ran 9.36 @ 143.9.

David Buschur has an Evo 8 which he uses as a daily driver (Arnold's S2000 is far from street legal), it has full interior, weighs ~3300lbs, makes ~635awhp (on 93 octane) and ran 9.71 @ 144.8 (again on 93 octane).

Bottom line: Open yours eyes and think outside the box.
