S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

What are some dyno numbers the LoveFab kit made?

My car made 410rwhp on a mustang dyno. Last time I dynoed before the LoveFab, I dynoed at 280rwhp on mustang dyno and 368rwhp on dynojet. This was tuned on pump gas.

I will get the car on a dynojet soon to compare numbers.

The car was tuned in Austin, Texas by MZM.

Ti has a tensile strength of 50,000lb/in^2, 304 stainless steel has 90,000 lb/in^2, inconel has 140,000lb/in^2!!!!!!!!!!!! That's almost 3 times the strength at room temperature.

Ti also has a Coef. of thermal conductivity of 12 while 304 stainless has 9.40 and inconel has 5.65!

Modulus of elasticity for Ti is only 15 while 304 SS is 28 and inconel is 30.

Hands down Ti is the worst choice you can possibly make to hold a heavy turbo (the amount of bracing you would need to hold the turbo up would be more than the weight savings of the Ti mani with the same wall thickness). It also loses heat quickly which you do NOT want in a manifold. It is also difficult to weld because it requires itself to be surrounded by a non-reactive noble gas.

Of course the absolute worst choice would be pretty much any alloy of aluminum.

Lex, which exhaust are you running? It sounds pretty good before the wastegate even opens up.

BTW, are you running a built engine or anything? What timings are you running? Seems like you could/should make more...

thank you kane

was considering ti only to offset the weight issues of turbo.

is inconel lighter than 304?

inconel is heavier than 304 but not by much. The fact that it is so much stronger and has better high heat fatigue resistance than 304 means you can probably go a bit thinner on the wall and it would be lighter anyways. The cost however is pretty astronomical and unless you are building a very professional race car or have insane amounts of money to throw away (feel free to throw some this way too if u do ), it's just not worth it.

321 also has better high heat properties than 304 and resists forming chromium carbies. It's only a bit more expensive than 304 too.

btw, there really are no weight issues. If you are being so picky about weight, there are much better ways to remove weight from the front.

Im using ultimate-racing 3 single exhaust. Mohammad tuned the car with 93 pump gas but I only have 91 here so he said that he took some timing off. Tuned more for reliability than peak power. You should see all the heat wrap!

The motor has Golden Eagle sleeves, CP pistons, pauter rods, ferrea valves, 1000cc RC injectors, HKS DLI etc..

His dyno reads a bit low but I'm trying to gather up some people for a group dyno session on a dynojet.
