So my engine builder has my motor at our machine shop where we are moving foward with a full "WET" sleeve. My qestion is what raw sleeve set should I buy? I contacted golden eagle and they will not sell their raw sleeves. Obviously there is the Darton M.I.D. sleeve set that comes almost completely machined besides final boring and honing for $680. Then there is AEBS which would be my top choice I feel. But I am a bit hesitant to buy the AEBS raw sleeve set for their $400 list price. I dont want my machine shop to get them and have to wack me with another like $400-500 in work to get them to there final fitment. Anyone buy raw sleeves before and have their local machine shops install them? Any other choices?! any help would be great since im trying to buy the sleeves tonight!

btw the goal from the motor is to support 1000hp even thought I shouldnt be over 700-800.

Im running the Darton MID. When I got my motor built it was to be able to handle over 1000whp. Im only running 600whp now but so far so good.

The Ductile Liners will work fine...the MID are bomb-proof and replaceable.

The main thing is getting them properly installed, liners will be cheaper on labor than MID.
