What SCE headgasket should I order for 89.5 bore?
Cometic is very good in other cars but for the s2000, caveat emptor for anyone who has/shopping for the CHG!
I can now finally agree with everyone on here with Cometic head gasket (CHG) failures and can confirm that the cometic head gasket is not very good for the f20c
Head gasket was properly installed and arp torqued properly.
The long story
Over the past few months, my friend and I got our f20c's stroked with 89.5mm bores.
His car was NA with a 40thou CHG and mine is for FI with a 50thou (1.27mm) CHG.
I read all about these failures and should have used a different gasket but at the time nothing was available I though if we install the gasket properly it might be ok. We got the builder to use permatex black spray, torque the head with arp properly to 85 foot pounds.
My friend's gasket leaked after around 2000km. Head was retorqued and it is holding at the moment.
Mine CHG held fine with 11psi of run in boost for ~800km. I then retorqued the arp head bolts to 90 foot pounds last night and it leaked
Solution ???
I've been reading about the SCE but not sure which one I should order.
Is the Pro Copper Head Gasket the right one for my application?
Has anyone had success with any other gaskets?

Slows2k, I had that on my previous setup and it IS bullet proof.
With the 89.5mm bore, I asked my buider to put the Oring in the head and he was a bit reluctant

I agree for a drag setup, use the standard bore size with Oring and oem head gasket. It can take a lot of cylinder pressure.
I stroked the engine and was hoping to pick up some midrange for the circuit. You guys are not suggesting that OEM makes gasket for 89.5 mm bore right? That would be nice

After wrenching of TAFC funny cars with o-ringed heads, it's the cats ass. We ran 55psi on a roots blower for 4 seconds of hell.
AEBS offered both stainless steel o-rings for higher boost apps, and copper o-rings that are much easier to replace.
There is a cooling system tradeoff for open deck/closed deck sleeves, but I would rather have sleeves that hold the combustion pressure where it should be.

I ordered the SCE ICS Titan gasket that has the metal rings in it, but my sleeves are stock along with my head. Is there any chance of hurting my cylinder head while running this HG?
(I am going to run the .93" version for my set-up.)

Your head will be fine, it will not hurt it.
