S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

What numbers are you making on stock headgasket?

Because the true limitations of the stock motor are just recently being explored as prices continue to depreciate. The static compression ratio of this motor at 11:1 is different than the dynamic compression ratio as rpm's increase and cam lobes switch. I am not an engineer and don't completely understand why we are able to run higher boost levels than are thought to be normal. However, there's a thread about this in the stock HG vs 3mm HG thread from a month ago (or so).

I wish someone at Inline or one of those places would pickup a stock motor from a wrecked car and boost the crap out of it to see what the stock motor can really take. I certainly don't have the budget to dick around with this...yet.

I think the real question to ask is, how long will this last on 18-20PSI on a stock gasket...

sure you can make the power.. but for how long? what are your driving habits? I for one granny my car...and barely push the envelope at all...

so if i'm tuned on 18-psi... can i get away with it? maybe...but its all becuase i dont push the envelope..

Mine never blew up. Lasted 40+ passes at the track. Daily drove it.

I'm staying out of the 3mm thread, please stay out of ours. Asking questions will lead to another 'this vs that' bitchfest.
