Default What is on my manifold

I was discussing this in a differnt post. I would rather it have its own post. What is this "nipple" on the exhaust manifold?

Could be something from when it was cast. Possibly where the metal was poured into the cast and it was not filed off or something.

Nope. I could probably take some next week if I get back into Cedar Falls. But yea that isn't normally on a greddy kit manifold is it?

i think a better question is why is the worm clamp on the air filter a million times to large?
