Default what do you put in your injection kit?

I've been searching posts all over various websites all day because my alcohol/meth injection kit should be arrriving soon and I wasn't sure what I wanted to run in it. I've heard a lot of different views about either alcohol/water mix, straight meth, meth/water mix, washer fluid.... what do you guys run? Idk what to use yet. I just know I'm not running straight alcohol bc of the corrosive affects it has on the injection system. And where do you buy what u run?

the meth/water seems to be the way to go. i guess its like a combination of aqua-mist and meth-injection idea.

what is your power range that requires the injection kit? i think that determines the mixture ratio.

are you going to need alot of boost to get to 400whp? is the turbo on the smaller side? just wondering why you need the kit at all for 400whp?

what all does your setup consist of bro?

i run 50-50 water/meth mix by volume. you can also mix by weight, which will result in more meth for the mix.

people ussually start at 50-50, choose your mixing style, and tweak the mix as needed. if you want more power, make it more meth, i have heard up to 80-20 meth/water or just straight meth.

water is better at removing heat, but meth adds octane to the mixture.

devils own has great forum for this type of stuff.

My setup is a fully built engine w/ cp 11:1 pistons, steele sleeves, acl bearings, arp studs, oem HG, full brian crower head (valves, retainers, springs) and t3/t4 turbo... its fairly small. Idk the exact size. Pfab log manifold, 880cc injectors, aem ems, fmic, ngr bov, 2.5 downpipe and 3 inch exhaust and test pipe, aem uego and aem tru boost, aem dry flow air filter. Fpr and walbro 255 pump. I had a feeling the kit would have issues with the small turbo safely making it to 400 and I heard that alcohol or meth kits make higher boosting safer so I wanted to give itt a shot

Why did you go through all that and still keep a log mani and a small turbo?

Do you road race the car?

ok this changes everything.

first off, sell that turbo kit for 1500-2500

save the money you woulda spent on a meth kit

buy a tubular sidewinder mani kit used from FOR SALE FORUM

make 450-500 pump no meth and be happy.
