What you guys do at inspect time? PM if you want...

Hypothetically speaking, if some guy told someone that he could help a turbo s2k owner with no emissions stuff and an ems, but not without the OBD port working, how should said person proceed? Keep looking?

It doesnt seem to be as easy as it has been in the past to make a car good to go.

Hypothetically speaking, this person doesnt know a way to register his car in another county because he doesnt have a place or know anyone in a non emission county even though there may be one relatively close.

Youre in Texas Im assuming. Ya I think there are like 3 counties in Texas that require emissions, but if you are in a county that touches one of those counties, you need to have emissions as well. So its like those 3 + their surrounding counties.

If you can't register it outside of these counties, then you will either have to put the stock ECU back in and make it where you can drive the car around and get it ready on the stock ECU, or find another tuning solution. This thread is the reason I decided to go with Kpro.

The DMV may or may not require a full address (a county/state/zip may suffice).

if you cannot do any of the stuff here, you can also scan a passable emissions s2000 with your registration and plate.
Obviously this will only work if you know a guy who knows a guy who will look the other way

Back in the day, I used to know some people, but they have since left the industry as I have recently discovered. KPRO looks more attractive now, but oh well. Thanks guys!

KPro is the answer in Collin County. I passed several times with my turbo and now race S2000 with KPro. They don't even look at the motor or test pipe. Just plug it in and put a sticker on it.

I don't miss inspections we don't have that in south Carolina. But when I lived in PA swim(someone who isn't me) drive to the shaddiest garage in philly. car always passed for 3x the inspection rate

I miss SC for that reason (among others lol). Rear plate and nothing else (no emissions/inspections)
