what do I need to do to move to E85?
Turns out I have a place around the corner from me that sells E85!
So, what do I need to run it? The guy told me it will eat through my engine and I needed a flex car?
I assume that's bs and I just need a retune?

Well your turbo is a GT30, does it have more in at 17psi you should be able to up the boost if you have a 3mm HG? Usally you need larger injectors and a in line pump of some kind. I think there are also some kits you can get for our car. Full bown, maybe search that.

With 1000 injectors you will need dual walbros or boost a pump...bosch or kenne belle. Will need fuel pressure regulator and set psi to 80psi or higher to allow 1000 injectors to flow enough fuel. Bank on approx 40% more fuel than pump gas. Or youu could get 2000 injectors and not increase pressure but I would still run dual pumps.

I am running a rewired walbro and ID1000s. Don't remember my dutycycles now and the boost is only peaking at about 11-12psi. (420whp) I have my car in pieces atm for turbomanifold changes so can unfortunately not give you any more accurate info right now.
Other than upgrading the fuelsystem flow wise there isn't much that you have to do to run e85. However you might want to make sure your rubber hoses can handle it because thats about the only problem I have heard of with E85.

i was actually planning on using it as a safety meassure on the track (road course). It was suggested that I use race gas to help with detonation. I assume having higher octane will allow the car to run better. I am not looking to increase boost/power.
