That looks like a PAR gearset. I ran their synchro and dogbox in my Subaru.

Is that who is making them???

Same thing happen to me as well but 2nd gear gave way. I was gonna pick up a low mileage used trans but I know it won't hold what I'm atempting to throw at it. I'm also talking ben from puddymod diff to see if he has anything for our trans as well.
Keep me and everyone updated on what you find out please.

I dont want an AP2 tranny. They have lower gears if I remember correctly and the output shaft wont fit my current DSS 1000 hp drive shafts bolt pattern.
ap2 trans has a primary reduction gear for the first 4 gears which works out to be the equivalent of a 4.20 ratio in your rear end instead of a 4.10. Its something but not much. Then 5-6 gear have a wider spread. 6th is will give you more top end speed for the salt flats plus its got carbon coated sincros. Its a better trans all the way around inmop. Cant you just swap the flanges from your current trans to accommodate your shaft?

I probably could just switch the flanges like you say, I hadnt thought of that. That is, if the flanges can be switched without actually having to change the whole secondary shaft. If the AP2 has a 4.20 ratio in 1st through 4th, then that will be lower gears, I dont want that though.

The flange on the trans is just a nylon nut and it pulls off. Easy swap if you have the right tools.

I'm running heavy rubber (295/35/17's) and I'm SC so the slight gear reduction is great. For your power level and delivery, your right, maybe not as appreciated.

^^I have found a few lower mileage trannies near me for around $500. One has 34k miles and the other has 28k miles from wrecked cars. Has yours been beat on at all or just driven nicely? Would you do $550 shipped?
