Default Water/Meth mix

Does a meth mix of 75% or higher damage any engine components like valve guides or anything else? I've heard of pure meth burning up parts but wondered about 75%.

You'll be fine Turbo Buick guys have been running straight METH for YEARS...........

also we are injecting METH into the intake, not running it 100% via the gas tank

at the very least, the large one. aem meth kit i find is great kit, but the nozzle sizes leave a lot to be desired.

devils own has huge selection of nozzles, and you can use devils own nozzle wiht aem piping

i make 350whp and spray the largest aem nozzle 515cc i think which is around 8gph + a devils own 2gph

I use the large nozzle as well. Currently running 100% meth, my car likes it.

AEM nozzle sizes

small = 130cc
Med = 315
Large = 550

I really like the atomization and spray pattern of the med nozzle though. I think with a more powerful pump/pressure, the larger nozzles could be better. I wouldn't trust going with anything larger then the supplied 550cc injector with the aem pump. I don't think it would atomize well enough to be safe/effective.

The new pump looks like it does a pretty good job of atomizing the mixture from the video's I've seen (could be propaganda though, lol).

It’s sufficient at 150psi. I think the other pumps from Sno and Devils are 180-200psi. Those kits are also near twice the cost. AEM has built in safety features on the basic kit that these don’t have also. Pros and cons like anything.

also, be VERY cautious of the Plastic Check Valve they give you. When I got the flow gauge the pump would come on and it would not sense flow for a good 2 seconds or so. Also after I was out of Boost the green LED would stay lit for a second or two........... I removed the Check valve and literally no delay from pump activation, to flow sensor..........

just something to think about.

I also read in a few articles that sometimes check valves cracking pressures could be off and they dont even bother with them

I got retuned today for the Meth to come on at the onset of Boost, the flow gauge read 550, nice and steady all the way to redline. I gained some mid-range and at 19psi (for the street) I make 561, whereas it was 550 before

I used my check valve??

I don't really have any issues w/that as far as I'm aware, although I should look into the flow sensor, just to see make sure it is flowing, however I don't really want to deal w/another guage, would be nice if I could integrate that into my serial 18-1 setup.
