Default Walbro 450 and science of speed mounting bracket kit.

I am going to be purchasing a Walbro 450 fuel pump and the SOS wiring kit. My question is how important is the mounting bracket kit. Can I install it without it or is it a must?

TIA

Define "must".

If you're fine using zip ties those will work too, lol.

Or wrap the body of the pump in a fuel-resistant tape for a tight compression fit.

Both ways are pretty ghetto. Just spend the money, SOS makes good shit.

"Must" as in you cannot install a Walbro 450 without the pump working properly or fitting in the housing without the SOS bracket. Sounds like you can "ghetto rig it" but Ill take your advise and get it and do it the "right" way!!
