Default Walbro 255 lph inconsistencies?

Guys, does anyone here that runs the Walbro have an in-cabin fuel pressure gauge where they can constantly watch the Walbro's performance. I think I'm getting some inconsistent performance from the Walbro, I just want to confirm this.

Anyone experience inconsistent performance from the Walbro?

no problem here. We have run both single walbro and twin walbro in tank in the s2000. No problems so far. The fuel pressure remains fine. I have them running of twin 30 amp relays with 10 guage wire.

My first Walbro HP was petering out at higher rpms and when I replaced it the results were much better. I have been told by my tuner of several others that just replaced it with another of the same and did much better.

I'm wondering if my pump is a source of my problems as well. My pressure drops after I rev and causes the engine to almost stall. It is similar to what would happen when my MAP sensor would need a wack but it is far worse. You can watch the gauge dip down well under 20psi then pop back up.

you should never see below 43psi(Im pretty sure this is the stock idle pressure), assuming youre still on stock injectors.

I'm seeing a 10 psi differential on flow with the Walbro I have installed. It correlates with whine as well. I'm going to get an industrial flow sensor and measure this to confirm

if the RPM coincides with the whine, it might make sense if voltage to the pump drops; but if its just fluctuating inconsistent with RPM, you have problems somewhere...

Well I noticed something weird tonight, when the fans came on the fuel pressure dropped 10 psi and came right back up. Unfortunately, I didn't have battery voltage being monitored to confirm. I could probably get current draw from the pump as well.

I tend to think that this pump just isn't very consistent.
