No need to rewire it imo. Either the pump is bad or something is not tight inside it or you have another issue all together. My walbro 255 has been good for over 2 years/30-40k miles at 12 psi.

New fuel hose and I could only find stainless worm gear clamps but they should be ok.
If I still have the same issue I'm lighting it on fire
Headed to the tuner wed so I will post an update.

My first walbro pump was simply no good. Made a pulsating noise louder than normal. Swapped it out and been good for a couple of years now without touching it.

My pump is pretty loud but I just thought walbros are loud pumps.
I got off work today early so I pulled the hanger. I still have the oe pinch clamps on the hose from pump to hanger. The one on the pump is very tight, but the end attached to the hanger I can spin with some effort. I'm going to pick up some screw clamps this week, but the crappy thing is that I don't know if its fixed till I go back to the tuner.
I'm really looking forward to seeing if this same issue fixs c63AMG

No dice. Fuel pressure dropped like a stone starting at 7500. Was 20psi at 7800.
I am going to try an AEM pump next and skip the connectors in the hanger. So 100% directly wired. Will try a new FPR as well.

Thanks for the update I have my hanger out I'm just going to go ahead and replace the clamps. Ill also wire for 13.5v, although it probably won't help. It's already out and ill have to do it anyways with a new pump. I'm just strapped for cash at the moment so no retune till I get a new pump.

I'm telling you guys, I had the same issue. Went through 3 different pumps (Walbro, FB, Aeromotive), 3 different dyno sessions....what resolved my problem was a new OEM pump hanger and new OEM sock filter.
Hope you get it figured out, these issues are a PITA
