Vortech pulley question
I am currently running a 3.2 " pulley with my vortech kit on an F22 stock motor. It is intercooled, not aftercooled. I am losing about 3-4psi of boost because of the intercooler charge pipes. I am currently putting out 381whp(dyno dynamics) on this setup. If I swap the aftercooler back in, will I need to lower the engine compression with a 3mm hg?

its interesting, im planning to rebuild my blower with ceramique bearing , and running a 3,6 " pulley with a f22 that turn 8600, have you any issu with the bearing in the blower with this pulley? have you rebuild it? how many boost do you have, you whp seem to be low , moddiction here on the forum made 406 whp with a 4" pulley, instead of running a 3mm hg , you can run watermeth , im very interesting to know how much boost is possible with a vortech and dont running watermeth or a bigger headgasket

I am seeing close to 12psi boost. I am using methanol, and running a piggyback ems (less tuning variables to play with). Numbers don't really mean that much to me. I had my car dyno tuned on a mustang dyno (330whp low reading) and again on a dyno dynamics. I'm guessing if I dynoed on a dynojet or dynopack my numbers would be higher than my current 381whp(dyno dynamics). No issues with the blower, runs great

Maybe swap the pulley out for a 3.8"? 3mm headgaskets suck so don't use one of those. Might be fine pushing 15-16 psi on stock engine. All in the tune.

hoe many miles you put with the 3,2 " pulley? i was always tinking its dangerous before 3,8" for the bearing, anyway here can say me how much boost i will have with a 3,6" pulley with a f22c that turn 8600 rpm?
