Default Vortec FMU to FPR

I am looking at getting a used Vortech kit and was looking for a little info that I can't seem to find.

The guy selling the kit recommends using a FPR instead of the FMU that comes with the kit. What does it take to do this ?

Also, he is going to keep the supplied fuel pump, what fuel pump should I replace this with ? A wolbro fuel pump ?

Thanks in advance for any information on this.

If you are going to be running the kit stock you will need the FMU to raise fuel pressure enough.

If you're going to run something like AEM EMS, stock FRP is fine.

Fuel pump you'll need the walbro 255lph one.
