Default Vibration

Took the car out for the first time .Huge vibration coming from the back of the car whilst on low revs like 2k or so. I have a v160 and a steel drive shaft from DSS and 8.8 diff. Have somebody had same issues with the same set up ?.

Unbalanced Drive shaft?
Worn Axle/Axles?
Checked Diffy, Tranny, etc mounts?

I will start from removing the dump tube it is touching the engine and making a rattling noise. I will try the drive shaft after, we never aligned it after we installed it.

The vibration is coming from the bell housing very strange. When i drive the car and put it on neutral gear the vibration goes away. Any suggestions? Would help a lot.

If you have aftermarket exhuast possible its vibrating if close enough to something. Might check motor mounts if you replaced clutch. Unless its clutch buzz from heavy clutch.

I can't think of any trick other than going over all the bolts on the bellhousing and checking that they're torqued down properly. Should also check the trans mount and make sure it's secured.

Beyond that though I'm wondering if there's any possibility there could be an issue with the pressure plate/flywheel torque. Just anything that could cause rattling by the bellhousing. Check that the clutch fork is properly pulling the TOB?

I'd just start checking all your bases until you hit something.

I am missing spacers from the drive shaft. This might be the issue. I need to get some info regarding them. My drive shaft bolts directly without spacers.

I had the same problem.. All I did was raise up my coils in the back and it went away..
