Like ahnold said, most good filters are shaped like that inside... look up an fipk filter from k&n, it comes in 2 pieces and one looks very similar to your velocity stack. Also they make large filters to go on top of velocity stacks. Summit racing and other places like that, all you need is the outer diameter and i* doubt* it will hurt the sound too much. (But i could be wrong).
