why do you need aftermarket stuff when OEM is working perfectly. Unless I pull my head off I am gonna rock all my stock stuff for as long as I can. It doesnt seem to be showing wear and this stuff isnt necessary honestly. Its overbuilding I guess but why?

yeah, I am pulling my head off when I throw the 3mm Gasket in, it was more an "idea", I dunno if anything is bent or needs replacement, so I figured while i had the head off, now would be a good time to upgrade the valvetrain parts (if I plan to do so). I do not intend to raise redline, so new valvetrain parts may be pointless, I am not sure thats why I am asking.

OEM may be fine for an unmodded N/A S2000, however I plan on pushing this motor to 550RWHP so I thought upgrading the valvetrain may be a good idea.

I don't mind spending the $$ if it will help, again I am not looking to gain power from this, just trying to make the moving parts stronger

, yeah I would like to keep stock CR, but for the power I want I am going to have to use the 3mm H/G. I am sending the head out to make sure its not warped at all.

To be honest sending the motor out and getting built for $3,500 at Laskey is seeming more and more like a good idea. Ill see how well this H/G thing works out

I like to run 11psi on stock HG....I made 402whp dynojet on that boost. Then when you wanna be crazy have a racegas map. Thats just me.

If you're not raising the redline I think its pointless. But if you've got the $$$$$ to burn, can't hurt?
