On our b-series motor, we had issues with the supertech stuff. They would warp under big power and not seal. We run ferrea in all our stuff now. The supertech stuff is good but once you start to get around the 800hp area then they become a problem.
I heard the same about their valves but the springs sounds good, what do you think about them?
Ive never had issues with their springs to be honest. I like to keep everything the same brand when doing a head build , so I just use all ferrea. I believe we stock the 80lb springs. Too heavy of a spring will wear out valve seats, rockers ect ect.

Hmmmmm... Thought I found the perfect combo there, Supertech dual springs and Ferrea valves. Tried to save a few bucks but guess it´s a bad place to save cash.

Agree..!

Their Competition Plus Series.......rocks, I also agree that you pair the valves, springs, seats, and retainers as Full-Blown mentioned earlier.

You can spin em' up to 10k rpm if you want to....long as you're still making more power do it, I upped it to 9500 with no problems

most people making big power use supertech springs with ferrea valves. Supertech springs can be had up to about 130lbs on the seat.. Ferrea maxes out at about 90-100, which is not enough for 9k rpms and 50lbs of boost
