Default UR Comptech FMIC

Hey i was just trying to install the FMIC today and couldn't get it to fit. i know that the s/c has to be clocked so its horizontal with the corssmember but i cant get it to be clocked that far because one of the bolt hits the oil fitting and the other one hits the top right(looking at the s/c from the front) of the compressor housing. I was follwoing this install guide but it says to loosen 8 bolts to clock but i only have 6? I can get it to clock properly if i dont use 2 of the 6 bolts. I know this might be confusing so i will try to get pics tomorrow.

I just clocked mine, it is only 6 bolts, must be a typo. I also don't think it has to be perfectly parallel to the cross member. I just rotated mine until the top bolt's triangle hits and can't go any farther. I removed my oil line, so nothing hit that.

you have to take 2 of the bolts completely out, clock it to the desired position and put those back in. It won't spin past the oil fitting unless you take the bolt and the triangle off. I had this same issue and this was how I got it to rotate completely around to parallel with the crossmember and retain the use of all 6 bolts.
