Yes, the oil filter fits in the original location if you don't have the intake pipe on. (Not the best idea, but answering your question.)

I just purchased a used Greddy kit that has no Fuel/Engine Management with it. I am trying to determine my needs and have a few questions.

1. I would prefer to retain the OEM fuel pump as the buzz from Walbro pumps drive me crazy. Also, based on the recent threads it apears to suffer from heat issues on long drives. From what I've read, the OEM pump is a 190 l/hr and should be adequate up to 350-400 crank hp with proper injector sizing. Any input?

2. I plan to keep this built mild and don't see myself going over 10 psi (creep is another story). Can anyone recommend how to determine the proper injector size? I know the kit comes with 550cc. Everyone raves about the ID brand but the 725cc seem extreme for this project. Any input?

I will be using Kpro to tune the build. Thanks!

550's will be fine chris, anything bigger is overkill so get what you want pretty much.

as for the fuel pump, id say its a good idea to go with a walbro. its not really that loud in the cabin like it is in a hatchback. if you decide to stick with oem, a lot of people like to hardwire the pump with a relay for more consistent/better voltage

Hey guys...
So I'm moving my S to Colorado next month. Im running 10psi with my greddy kit and had my Emanage tuned in Socal by hb speed.
Ive done a lot of research/calling around in the denver area but no one has much experience or wants to touch my Emanage (they call it "cant manage").
What are your opinions? Should i see how its acts @ 8000+ feet in elevartion? Its just that it is tuned/runs so well in socal (AFR is high 10's- low 11's @ sea level). I dont really want to let a shop here in CO mess with it and then run into trouble!

FWIW - The fuel pump that came with my Greddy kit doesn't seem any louder than the OEM pump was. My car is much quieter than stock now because the turbo/intercooler/piping smothers the F20C's intake noise. Thus I'd expect to hear the fuel pump, but I don't. I haven't rewired it yet either. I took it on a six hour road trip last week and everything worked perfectly.

Mine does not make much noise at all either. When you get low on gas and drive a long time in the heat then it may whine a bit more

Hey guys I just installed my greddy bov and after the push air is released it makes a light whing sound. I tryed turning it to hard but same sound. any ideas?

used or fake bov? sounds like the diaphragm is binding and the valve is slow to close. If it's a fake BOV, get a real one, those are crap. If it's a used real one, your diaphragm might just be worn and/or damaged.

Hey I just read over about 30 pages of this thread and just wanted to say thanks. I wasn't sure what kit to go with but this looks like a solid kit to go with. Simple, reliable and not crazy overkill. Its pretty awesome this kit has basically its own community, haha.
