The Ultimate GReddy Turbo Kit Thread
#561
question, greddy claims the kit is safe to drie out of the box, others say get a tune, some say dont even drive it to the tuners, trailer it. if you use the base map it should be good to drive right?

You can drive it to the tuner, it may not run great but it should be more than fine. Now if you run a TP and large exhaust be super careful. But the base map was tuned with a 80mm single and a stock cat. Anything other than the stock cat you should not boost with out a tune. Also the tune will let your run better and you can turn up the boost to make more power with a boost controller.
So get a good boost controller
A Berk 63 HFC which may or may not be needed if you use a 70mm single
And an 60-70mm exhaust nothing bigger

When I put mine on I had to cut it to fit our turbo because of the external WG. That one is probably the same which means you have to take the turbo off to custom fit it. it pretty easy just use a pair of sharp shears. I used some mechanics wire to hold it on the turbo since I had to cut the eyelits off.
