Might be better to ask my question also in the GReddy thread,

since i completed the build, the boost ( which was set to 10.5 psi according to the previously owner ) actes strange..
yesterday, while driving in very HOT weather ( 90+ fahrenheit ) it started to overboost suddenly.. which it usually doesnt do. ( yesterday was really hot, we normally barely ever going over 70+ fahrenheit ) So i started to think it might be the weather, but that should LOWER boost, not increase...

I usually have a solid 10.5 PSI of full boost but yesterday it went up anywhere to 12.5-14 PSI....
( i checked the vacuum line, it's good )

I DID ported the wastegate before the install, and im running a 3"berk ehaderback WITH HFC Cat.

One thing that i noticed during the instal, is that i needed alot of force to put the actuator arm on the wastegate flapper. I'm GUESSING it's NOT a 3.5 turn back from a zero point like mentioned in some GReddy wastegate actuator arm settings ( which should give 8psi if i'm correct )

Perhaps it's turned alot tighter than just 3.5 turns, making the turbo running higher boost and perhaps causing the little overboosting issue.

( the overboosting occurs already at 5000RPM! )

What do you guys think?

I also DO NOT have a boost controller, but i'm thinking of a profec B spec II...

I just need her to run a STEADY boost so i can have her tuned without overboosting issue's..

Hope some GReddy owners can help me out!

its gotta be the actuator rod if you adjusted it. Temperature plays a big role too. what is your air fuels? Usually the hotter it is the leaner your car runs.

Well the previous owner adjusted it, like i said in my previous post, the actuator rod needs to go on the wastegate flapper with LOTS of force, so im assuming that when the wastegate reads 8psi, the boosts needs to rise a bit until it really starts to move.. Im guessing this would be my case..

But i still find it strange that the hot weather made it go up...

Im running 11-12.5 AFs...
