If that is the case, then I'll have to run on a AP1 map also. I'll get a tune regardless though. Thanks.
WOW, yeah you better talk to a tuner about that, I see multiple issues, AP2 kit, AP2 car, AP1 ecu, AP2 harness? I would think you need to use a ap2 map but a ap1 wireharness. But really you will need a new tune, I would not even think of using a can tune on your car AT ALL. TOW IT TO A TUNER or put the ap2 ECU back in and run an ap2 tune.

Ohh Ohh my turn!

So I am picking up a greddy kit myself now (Thanks Oleg!) and I am collecting parts to get ready. I plan to still run a complete OEM exhaust setup including cat during DD, but still want free-flow. So I am going to install a cutout. In trying to decide on location I found a nice straight on the greddy DP.

I need to know the Diameter of the DP at this point, and how long this straight is. The Cutout requires 11".

See the pic below, anyone have there DP at reach or can get to it for these measurements?

Also, a pic of the downpipe installed from under the car would be GREAT!

Thanks!

Several members here run cutouts, Why not? I have read about the issues with boost creep and will be boring out the WG. If that dosent fully resolve the creep I will be using a restriction plate.

So....

I think it will be a waste of money, time and energy on the greddy it, spend it on something else. You can try it but meth would be a better idea if your looking for more power with this kit, and a SOS throttle body. Just and idea

I am currently working with a company to see if I can get a 5 bolt to V band adaptor made that will fit the greddy T518z like a glove and provide us with something we can make a 3in downpipe with. This will get rid of the divorced craptastic/restrictive downpipe. You should be able to make this work if you want to. Maybe wait a while and I'll see what I can do.

They actually already make a T25 to 3" v-band, I'm using one.

So, what about the restriction of a stock cat and exhaust setup? The cutout is not very pricey, around $160. Should I just go with a HFC? Will it yield the same results. I just DESPISE loud exhaust, thats all.

What 'same results'--What are your power goals?
What exhaust do you think is loud? and which do you consider quiet?
