Twin scroll setup
What do you guys think of this build? Shooting for great response 500hp.
GTX35r with a divided T4 turbine with a 1.06ar
3mm headgasket
Turbo cams to reduce overlap
Talking to Ptuning to use their turbo kit except I want a bottom mount twinscroll T4 manifold made
Stock exhaust with a sp cutout.
255 walbro
1000cc injectors
larger Fuel rail 8an feed line and 6an return with a aem fpr

Ditch the following:
3mm hg
Turbo cams
Shoot for 425-450 on pump and enjoy
500-650 on e85 if injectors and pump allow
If u want serious response do a gtx30r with biggest ar u can for twinscrolll

Sounds good minus the 3mm head gasket and swap the Turbo cams for N/A cams. Or dump the cams altogether, they don't make much power on our cars.
E85/Race gas or pump?

The only reason I have the 3mm headgasket is to reduces back pressure so the twin scroll setup does not choke up top. If I stay with stock cams I will at least buy adjustable cam gears to remove overlap. I will be running 93 octane no meth.

your overthinking the build. 3mm hg will change the quench area and actually make everything worse and less reliable. of all the 3mm hg installs i have read about, a handful have survived the test of time.
the car has crazy low dynamic compression in vtec. take advantage of it. the 11:1 is static compression, ignore it more of less.

it is true. many twin scroll setups have ate crap up top. mostly due to people using to small a hotside. when i put mine together, LJ said go huge on the back side.
that being said, find out what the biggest is gtx35 and gtx 30 come in divided back side housing. and thats what i would pick. for your goal, it wont matter too much. hell, you can skip divided and still get great mid range and top.
i bought for the future. new pump, injectors, e85 and tune and i am gonna push for 550-600. and you will be able to do the same with both turbos i mentioned. in both open and divided.
