If you launch the car at 7K with 300+ whp, there is a good chance you will be posting to WTB Section looking for a diff.

But since you brought it back from the dead. I used to be supercharged at high boost, and its hard to get enough traction to capitalize from a dig. First gear is useless, so I could never plan on making up ground until second gear and that's still with some modulation, so even MORE torque isn't the winning solution here, its about the tire and the driver. I am no longer SC, but now have a typical NA bolt on s2k with tune/lower vtec and I was playing around with my GPS 0-60 times and was able to get a pretty consistent 5.1 sec the handful of times I did it. This was with a strait up roll on the gas from a dig with no wheel spin (which not possible with a decent boost sc) I think with less care and aggression out of the hole I could crack 5 sec and get a 4.9. Not bad for a stock weight NA s2k. Its really hard to do much better boosted whether Turbo or sc because of traction. Its really a drivers race 0-60. After that the added power makes the difference.

Very interesting read mate

You have 10 inch wide rear wheels? Didn't this help with rear traction when you were S/C ??

Since it's back from the dead anyway. The correct answer to Turbo vs Supercharger is....it depends.

No I've got 11.5" rear wheels/ 295's. But I often wondered lol Really its not set up to drag race, its a car set up for road course, so there are several things working against strait line traction in that regard. I think the wider contact patch helps marginally better over a typical 255 for strait line, vs how much better it is for improved lateral traction, if you examine the shape of the contact patch. Generally taller is better for strait line, wider is better for cornering.

Jesus Christ that video above is AWESOME! I honestly don't see how ANY supercharged S2K could keep up with that.

11.5 inches at the back is would feel great, can you get semi slicks that wide?
