its all in the tune. neither is more safe than the other. both can screw your motor with a bad tune.

Turbo when it comes down to it, is going to net you bigger HP numbers and torque... HOWEVER its going to cost more. A supercharger you wont get as high as HP numbers but its not going to cost as much in the long run... its more simple to set up and tune than the Turbo(so ive been told). My preference is the turbo... but the money involved makes me say Supercharger. Both will have you grinning. GOOD LUCK! I guess my question on my level is, with a simple low boost turbo set up 8-12lbs how much tuning and set up would be involved.
