I headed to Maryland (MIR) for the street racing made safe event. It was a complete shit show, glad its only $25 wasted and not more. Granted, I run "similar" events, but I also enjoy racing to race, and not apply bias ( also went to wannagofast and had a good time, except for long lines)



Anywho, Didnt do any dig racing as im still on IS axles and not the DSS setup, so rolls only for me. Race distance for roll-ons was 1280 ft, as you started at the tree and raced to the normal finishline

Met some old BMW guys there i knew from back in the day - 1st run vs new M6, 45 roll, just dusted him completely, but I trapped 140mph. After that, no one wanted to run me. I had plenty of time to search the pits as it was 2 hours before i could race again anyway, but most cars just werent that fast. Several people came to my trailer to ask about my 2Jz swap lol. So I get back into the lanes and try and find a race, luckily a cool guy in full leathers comes over and asks if im paired up yet, i said NOPE!

Ive always wanted to build a car that can run with literbikes, and now was my chance. 2005 ZX10R, intake/tune/full exhaust/ stretched. Says he usually runs n20 but not today ( thankfully)
has been 6.20@121 in the 1/8th. he didnt want to tell me his 1/4 times

He jumped out 3 cars from the hit ( need that AEM Infinity), 3rd gear stopped his pull, 4th gear i was reeling him in nicely but ran out of room. lost by about 1-1.5 cars. Had it been 15 or 1600ft roll race like Slipstream holds, I think I would have gotten by him by a car or 2. S2k 143mph, ZX10 138mph

Very nice! Do you have the video with the bmw as well? This was at 27psi also? I gotta say that your dyno isn't that much off from your traps...idk maby im wrong.

I dont have video, maybe they have the gopro, there was about 5-6 bmw guys i knew there, they all had gopros on, ill see if he did. My dyno's are all over the place. people claim my dynapack # isnt real because dynapack, and then i had issues on a dynojet but didnt log it and it only made 613.

car is going under the knife again as of now. doing a 31 spline lsd, DSS 5.9 axles, drag coilover swap and hopefully a new motor built by IMW/InlinePro so I know for sure we can max this turbo out. id reallly like to push 35-40 psi all day, every day, but i dont feel like breaking anything else along the way

I would have, but its a 3 1/2 hr drive from MIR back home, and the whole event was a shit show so i packed up after the bike. Got to track at 4:45, ran the bike at 8:45 ish, loaded up and got home just about midnight. running the supra would have been fun but not worth the wait

Yea, event looks a lil shady from that vid haha. Nice runs tho man, crazy you can launch the s like you did. My car would probably snap in half if i tried that lol
