There's a whole section dedicated to Forced Induction, READ. 8-10 PSI doesnt mean anything since each turbo kit is esentialy different and will provide diferent reliabilty and power output. Sorry if I sound like an ass but always search before you post.

And buy some jack stands.

You should also consider supercharging. IMO, there is more reliablity to be had with a supercharger setup. Depending on your model year, there are several good SC kits available.

Agree. with the boost you want a SC kit seems like a better solution. Less issues and more novice friendly.

Do a search, this topic gets answered every single day lately it seems like.

If you don't have any knowledge in regards to boost and can't work on your car or don't have the funds to repair it if you get caught in a bind, then don't do it.

If youre that scared about youre daily driver then id just leave it alone . Both turbo and supercharger require the upmost care although less with the supercharger .

I always say this when I see a post like this, don't mod your DD. Buy a cheap beater to have bc your car WILL be down. Ive found if you can't afford a cheap daily, you can't afford to mod your car.

I agree wit all the above post. If you dont have enouh information about turbo, dont do it.

But on another note, im from the bay also and have a greddy kit for sale. I can't turbo the car until after my bi annual smog so I'm thinkin about gettin other stuff for my car. Lmk.
