A lot of the high horsepower SC guys don't run larger than 70mm. I think sideways runs stock and is over 500.

Yeah, I run a full 3" exhaust and apparently, 60-63mm is the best for superchargers according to this post https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/710...erent-exhaust/

I was running the 3" Single Challenge exhaust but after reading and researching I have now switched back down to the 2.5" Tanabe

In the upcoming weeks going to switch to the Comptech exhaust to see how it sounds and go from there

If you are supercharged you want 60-63mm test pipe. 3" test pipes works great for turbo cars not so much supercharged cars.

Superchargers and turbos flow differently and have different exhaust velocity. You want your header, test pipe/cat, and exhaust to match. At the 430whp level, a 3" test pipe and exhaust is like pissing facing the wind, because at that power level it's overkill, less efficient and loud. You would ned to find the header that has the largest piping(I believe it's Berk), move to a 70mm test pipe, do your exhaust, and all the other mods to shoot for 500whp+ to make the larger exhaust worth while...
Edit: read upgrading to larger exhaust http://www.enginebasics.com/Engine%2...st%20Flow.html
