Not good brother, mine made that same sound about a month ago and my bearings died shortly after. I called Garrett and they said that this was more than likey due to the high oil pressure blowing the seals on the bearings. You said you just bought the restrictor which is good, but it might be a little too late. Hopefuly not though
FYI I had around 1000 miles on my turbo without a restrictor before it went.

oh gosh.. that dosent sound so good. My lil brother turbo had the same problem. After a while his turbo gave out.
i shouldnt be high jackin gthe thread but just for your fiy i have a turbo forsale brand new. just let me know.
